The Kingdoms of Nature

Anthroposophic medicine uses various mineral, plant, metal and animal-based raw materials:
 

Minerals
e.g. Quartz, sulfur and lime are often used

Metals
e.g. Gold, silver, iron and tin are often used

Plants
e.g. Arnica, yellow gentian and chamomile are well-known medicinal herbs often used

Animals
e.g. Animal-based substances include insect venum, from animals such as ants (formica) or bees (apis)

These raw materials are also used in homeopathy in different potencies.  In allopathic medicine, these natural materials are also used but are often dominated by synthetic substances.
